The survey can measure either where you are against the 39 pieces of evidence required to meet the IiP Standard or it can determine how you are performing against the 10 areas of best practice in the framework.
A survey is useful in larger organisations, for example, 50+ employees where there may be remote staff or various geographically spread locations.
Some smaller organisations, however, have frequently opted to use a survey as they have preferred to consult with all staff at the beginning of their journey.
The cost of a survey is related to the number of employees in the organisation.
